Benchrest Open Competition Results – August 2026
Our latest Benchrest Open Competition took place at Camelots Airgun Club on Saturday 8th August 2026, with competitors taking part in our 25 metre sub-12 ft-lb unlimited air rifle competition.
There were some excellent scores across the two cards, with the final positions calculated from each competitor’s combined score. Where competitors finished on the same total, the total number of X’s was used as the tiebreaker, with the higher X count taking the higher position.

Congratulations to Matthew Gleaves, who took first place with a combined score of 483 and 10 X’s.
Tango Bob finished second with 479 and 11 X’s, while Neil Caddick completed the top three with 478 and 12 X’s.

How positions were calculated: Competitors are ranked by their combined score across both cards. Where competitors have the same score, the total number of X’s is used to determine the higher position. Where both the score and X count are identical, the competitors share the same position. Entrants with no recorded score are shown as No Score / Unranked.
