The remarkable story of Camelot’s Airgun Club began with a simple vision. While relaxing by a poolside on holiday, enjoying a pint, the club’s founder dreamt of creating a space for airgun enthusiasts. Little did he know, this vision would rapidly evolve into a thriving community for shooters.

I still remember when he rang me and said he had leased a field to build an airgun club on, he didn’t have a name for the club yet but he rang me a couple of week’s later and said “I’ve got it! Camelots Air Rifle Club!” he described the logo of a knight on a horse holding an air rifle and explained the reasoning behind it. That reason being, that the land itself used to be a medival tournament ground.

This dream, born from a moment of leisure, quickly turned into a reality beyond expectations. The club’s swift rise to success was unforeseen but is a testament to the founder’s passion and the club’s commitment to excellence. That being said, the hugh support from the members and the community down at the club has also played a massive part in creating this amazing environment that we are all able to enjoy, and shall continue to enjoy for many years to come.
